Holy Moly!Thanks for the info everyone.I must admit to not having thought too hard about a time interval (ie 84 months),that's not shown in my manual.I don't have the previous owners records so I'm having a Volvo tech check it out tomorrow to see if it's the original belt,if it is it's outa there.

Sure glad I asked.Thanks again for your input.
