I took my car in a week ago for service engine, oil was changed. As soon as I drove it out of the lot the abs light and the tracs off lights were on. I called the dealer, made an appointment and it was not the controller but the all expensive not covered under extended warranty part ABS pump motor, estimated cost 2258.00 The codes were ABS 443 & EFI 232. I am really disappointed about the cost, but heck do I really need those ABS brakes. I honestly think this problem has existed since I bought the car. Since it is not under warranty, I am trying to find a different mechanic to look at it. I've got 79,000 miles on it and so far this is the only major problem I've had.
