AC too cold. Brrrrrrrrrrr.

ACC car. Evaporator replaced about 1 year ago. Heater core about 6 months ago. It's on it's 3rd cabin temp sensor. Lately, since the weather has gotten a little cooler, I've noticed that the AC seems to discharge at about 38 degrees (by thermostat) no matter what the cabin temperature is set. No flashing lights on the ACC panel to indicate a fault. Cold enough that sometimes there are clouds of fog released from the vents, and enough so my eyeglasses can fog up if the outside temperature is warm enough.

I did search this on Brickboard, somebody reported the same problem on an 850. Best response: "It's the Gremlins man. Rub a chicken on the hood to chase away the bad spirits."

If I don't believe in Gremlins (except the AMC variety) or in exorcisms, and we ate the chicken for dinner tonight. Any other suggestons?
