Could you suggest? V70-XC70 2001

You are a tech, or I have it seriously wrong. In either event, how do I get at the offending bulb? It is the topmost brake light, above the "position light", and doesn't seem to be accessed through the same panel. Do I go in through the speaker opening? Do I remove the whole piece of plastic trim in that corner? Life used to be so simple until the world changed around me...
