ECC vs Std Climate Control 850 1994

Yes, ECC uses a transistorized resistor located to the left of the blower motor and when they start to fail, the blower motor will usually just cut out after running a few minutes, assuming no other fault codes are stored (like a faulty sensor) that can also cause the same problem but you'll see flashing LEDS.
The ECC resistor costs about $110 for the part.
