It's called "afterblow". If the A/C has been operated for at least 5 minutes, the function is activated. After the car is switched off, 50 minutes later, the interior blower fan will run at max speed for 5 minutes and then stop. The purpose of this feature is to dry out the evaporator to prevent mold/mildew, which cause unfreindly odors. If the A/C is not used, the afterblow function will not activate.
