We found that when we removed the air induction, filter, system the car starts normally every time. The cam shaft sensor works sometimes but not other times. We checked all of the previous suggestions and none of them were the problem. I just dropped it off at a private shop that works on volvos, it is run by a previous volvo mechanic. He said he hears a skip in the flywheel in addition to the problem starting, but only while starting. The transmission people said they had trouble starting it before they started to work on it. I dropped it off thursday night & left it outside of the business. When he moved it Friday to the bay where it was to be fixed he had a little trouble starting it. When I dropped it off it never!!! did that to me before. Sandy
