I'm not sure about the bigger hose size, I didn't replaced it: still in good condition. Looks to me 1/2-5/8" dia. but I'm pretty sure it's not 1" dia.
My brick is a '96, maybe it's different for a '93

Take a sample to the autoparts and they'll find you the right size for your car
