my '98 has about 184k on it. been driving w/the abs module out for about 60k of those miles. basically, it means you've got no abs. i haven't been able to justify spending $600+ at the dealer to fix it since the car brakes safely and normally (w/o abs.) just have to drive old school and pump the pedal on wintery roads....
although, its interesting that brickboard poster Vitor may have a fix.
