I've got the same problem with my transmission as everyone else (almost everyone). I've had the urgent service message and 1st & 2nd gear lockout (wouldn't go out of 3rd, stopped, restarted and everything was back to normal). I have the shudder in the 2/3 shift but it is only under med to hard accel. Under normal/mild accel you don't notice anything. Question: how long can I drive like this? Will I do serious damage to the point where I'll have to go to a rebuilt tranny instead of just a solenoid replacement (is this really an option?)? Thanks guys.
