Oil break in period

replace when new, at least you know you have the best in it. I started using syn at 100,000 miles, now I have a little leak. They say syn oil will clean any deposits within the system. I replace my own (cheaper) and do it about 4,500 - 5,000 miles. The car now has 125,000
