I own both a Yakima system and a Thule system for bikes and boats. They're both good products - neither is a bad choice. I like Thule's cargo boxes better although I don't own a box. Yakima bars seem stronger while my Thule's have gently bent under a big load. I'd avoid the Volvo stuff even if it's made by Thule. I've owned my racks for over a dozen years and can still easily get replacement parts. I'm not sure you could do that with Volvo.
