Need to reset 'service message'. V70-XC70 2003

I saved this from this BB, and it is for S80 but suspect it is what you need. Lot us know if this applies to your car.

For MY99-01

. Turn ignition key to position I
2. Press and hold trip odometer reset button
3. Turn ignition switch to position II
4. Continue holding trip mileage button for about 10 seconds
5. After SRL flashes, release trip mileage button.
6. You should hear a beep-beep to confirm command accepted

For MY 02
1)Ignition in position I
2) press and hold the trip reset button and wait for the trip mileage to set to zero. Must be in T-1(see below).
3)Turn the key to pos. II, and watch the trip miles.
4) When the previously displayed miles reappears, release the button.

There is no confirmation chime

The trip meter has 2 modes, T-1 and T-2. You will see a little tiny T-1 or T-2 in the display. To change between modes, press and release the reset button. Must be in T-1 to reset the service reminder. Turn the key to position I. Press and HOLD the trip reset button while watching the trip display. When the miles reset to zero, turn the key to position II while holdingt the trip reset. Continue holding and watch the trip display. When the original milage display returns, release the trip reset. Turn the key off, then back on and start engine. Service reminder should now be reset.
