It might be a "timed interval" reminder for service lighting, so often (on some models) of you momentariy disconnect the battery negative it resets the memory and clears it. Worth the try.

On my 240 there is a mechanical lever behind the dash to do it.

On my 940 there is a button plugged with rubber on the dash itself 9do you have this button?)
