Get a set of Raybestos Quiet Stop ceramic pads (part # 618QS) and some new front rotors (#96516). You should be able to do it yourself, but if you have a PepBoys store in your area they'll do it for you too. Do you have a shop manual for your Volvo? Good luck...... Mike
