Just bought an 95 850, What needs to be changed/checked? 850

The items that have some potential to cause damage and/or should be checked are:

1. Timing belt.
2. Tranny fluid. Flush if brown or burnt.
3. Clean/replace the flame trap. If clogged, can lead to rear main oil seal failure.
4. Of course, change the oil & filter.

Many other smaller things can happen, but just deal with those as they come.
