supposedly the newer s80's are better cars. the 99 s80 is on consumer reports top ten to stay away from. I think the 2001 and newer models got better ratings, but I have to wonder did the car change that much in a couple of years? It's hard to believe that drivetrain components could be changed in such a short timeframe to make the vehicles that much better. I want to believe..can anyone verify from their experience?
