Fumoto oil drain valve users. I Need Help

I have been using a Fumoto drain on my Volvos for 6 years and find it is a great product. On my '98 S70 I had to do a little filing on the valve to get a flush fit. On my S80 I needed the adapter and on my S60 I just transferred the Fumoto drain plug from the S80 to the S60 and left the adapter on it. No problem with clearance or anything. The same Fumoto item fits all 5 cylinder and 6 cylinder Volvo engines. I would say to get the adapter so you won't have any problems. Fumoto is a very reliable dealer. I followed their advice with my first valve and filed part of it for clearance but went too far(filed too much) and they sent me a new one at no charge. Very reputable!!
