Central locking problems 850

Hi,
I have a problem with my CL on my 96 T-5R!
When you unlock from the remote it opens fine but 1 time in about every 10 it wont lock off the fob!
It will set the alarm but the doors and tailgate wont lock! sometimes it locks the doors but not the tailgate!!!
Sometimes it unlocks the doors but not the tailgate!!!
Help me guys.........its baffling me!!!!!
