Does your original remote lock and unlock the doors?

I don't know about your car , but our '96 855R will lock itself if you unlock the door with the remote and do not open the door within a certain amount of time.

I vote for the after market wiring. They are the only ones who can unsort your problem - IF they can remember what they did to your car!

You should get them to remove their stuff before the situation gets worse, like the system locking you out of the car!
