planning new purchase V70-XC70

Why do you want the T5? the 2.5T is also a very sturdy and hearty turbo. Actually both use the same engine, with the T5 using the high compression turbo, vs. the 2.5T using the lower compression Turbo. The 2.5T therefore gets better mileage. As far as the other options, check out the Platinum Edition of the 2.5T as it has all the extras you are looking for and with the Platinum Edition the price is much more reasonable than adding the different packages...they come standard. The reason I say this is because we bought a 2.5T '04 and added the packages we wanted but came away without the Speed Sensitive Steering and Geartronic transmission. Our cost was same as what we could have gotten the Platinum Edition for with more features. Don't take my word for it...check out the Platinum Edition for yourself....it's a great buy for all that you get. Wish we had waited on this one instead of going ahead with our buy, but at the time the dealer didn't have any of the Platinum Ed. cars in. Of course, we love our Volvo and enjoy it too.
