oil trap or flame trap? 850 1994

Are you talking about flame trap? If that is the case, Bay 13 has info on how to service that area,

The part is $1 max (Swedish Engineering, 800-928-6586).

The part was a safety mechanism to disperse the air and prevent fire (I think).
