ABS and STC light are on, brake or controller issue??? S80

I have a 99' T6 and was going to change out my rotors and pads this coming weekend. And of course yesterday the ABS and STC light came on in the car. Is it a possiblity that these could be realted to the need to change out the rotors/pads, or is it worse and I need to change the ABS/STC controller unit?

Any thoughts?? Thanks
