hupjac,

I had debris trapped in mine and was able to remove it by using the blower function on a shop vac. I didn't even have to remove the speaker.

Then, just use (CAREFULLY) a small brush to knock loose any debris that isn't blown out and do it again until the speaker sounds clear.
