V70 Air Con like 850s? V70-XC70 1998

Hi;

Does anyone know if the V70 has the same horrible evaporator the 850 series had? I'm thinking of letting go of my 1990 740 for a '98 V70 but don't want to be ripping out the dashboard to replace an evaporator every 2 years.

Any other tips on what to look for in a garden variety V70 FWD, non-turbo, not XC
