Missing in the Rain 850 1995

It sounds like a classic case of moisture in the distributor cap, but you should check for diagnostic codes also. Being that you have a 1995, you can do this yourself. See here: http://www.volvospeed.com/CheckEngine.htm and check for possible codes in the A2 socket.
