Probably misdiagnosed...... S40-V40 2000

"If under warranty, the pump is R&R'd and re-sealed but if not under warranty and with high mileage, then I'd advise replacing the pump because I've seen where re-sealing it didn't always fix it permanently."

R&R'd? what did you mean by that? I thought you meant re-sealing it fixed the problem... does something else need to be done also?

If I have not encountered this problem, but my car is under warranty, can I complain to the dealership and have them replace the part?
