Upgrades? - S40-V40 2001

Hey Freightliner,
I'm new to the world of Volvo and when reading your posting, I am now curious as to the least expensive, bolt-on upgrades I can do. This you could list out a few, share your upgrades? Would be nice to shoot down some baby-Bimmers on the parkway.


Also.. about the braking issues.. I have now 16k on my car and my wheels get covered with brake-dust, have to clean the wheels every week. I could see that I'll soon have to put new pads on soon myself. I commute in my car everyday, put a bit over 500 miles a week on it.
