knocking under S70 S70

My car has a noticeble knock when I drive over moderately bumpy terrain. It sounds as if it is coming from the right rear undercarriage. I have checked the spare tire compartment, have had it on a lift and checked by a Volvo technician(with no obvious loose parts) and the sound persists. Suggestions are welcomed.
