Buzzing noise front (passenger side) engine compartment 850 1995

I had a similar thing happening to my Volvo. It turned out to be the motor for the head light wipers. The motor for the headlight wiper would circulate, but the wiper didn't turn, so the motor made this winning noice. My mechanic said something about the headlight motor trying to zero. Anyway, manually move the head light wiper with the key on and the noice should stop. Or you can try unplugging the motor to the headlight wiper, depending on where you live.
