Thanks for the advice. The manual was very clear that there be a kill switch and a fuse on it if wiring it up to the battery. I already got those together. It was marketed as a 300V converter but was only getting 150V though my cig lighter so now I have to make it more permanent to get the full 300V.
Thanks for the advice on the gromets I will search for one.
