There is a missing 20amp fuse in the REM for the subwoofer(#13). I will try to locate the output of the fuse in the box.
you said the purple was "hot"? =12volts constant? out of the sub assembly?
What did the plug look like? how many wires? colors? where are they connected to on your car? Is your sub working even without the purple connected?
lets figure out your problem, it will help me on mine.
