not sure about groan...but if u are talking about a fairly loud grind/crunch type of noise.. that is merely the abs testing itself.. and usually only right after a car is started. this is normal. but due to exceeding loud noise...volvo has had it changed to produce a lesser noise in the s/v/c70...
