Tom, I have some pictures of how I repaired the micro bulbs on the sc-813 at http://home.comcast.net/~kentshaw/bulbsout.pdf. Looking at the pictures, it looks like you may have to open the radio and remove the face plate circuit board. I haven't had to make this kind of repair yet, but my pictures may show you how to take the radio apart and how it looks inside the radio. Another option is to get your dealer to exhange the radio (I have been told about $400).
