1995 850 Turbo odometer error 850

I had this exact problem with my 95 850 turbo. I figured it out on a drive from San Fran down to San Diego - by the time I hit LA I should have been home according to the mileage! What really gave it away was that the trip odometer computer (digital) was accurate and the mechanical odometer/trip odometer was off. I calculated the distance errors and concluded that it was in kilometers instead of miles. The car was originally from Tennessee, but I think that the odometer was replaced with a Canadian one. I just learned to live with it. It was always confusing working with mechanics etc. as you can imagine! I really like that car, but it died in an accident. So I don't have to worry about the odometer anymore! Good luck!
