Just bought a 98T5....need some help please.. S70 1998

Hey...thanks for the reply.

My mechanic is as an independent one...He's quite good actually...came highly recommended by many people I know well. When we put the car up on the life, he said he could tell immediately that there was something wrong with the left rear strut.... I don't know... maybe I'm not explaining the sound correctly.. although I do believe its a "rattling". Maybe its a loose muffler.... or the wheel?

As far as the turbo leak, he said he doesn't think its anything major, but its a bit of a chore to actually get to the turbo...its well hidden.

I'm also suprised that he said the shocks were the issue, because just as you said, they don't just go bad after 57k. I'll mention that to him...and we'll see what he says.
