850 vs 960 850

Ive a 96 960 3.0 24V and a 96 850 T5-R
The 960 is much better built and the finishes on the interior are superior. It is a great cruising car and the auto box is lovely! Its a great car for covering a lot of ground without too much hassle and very comfortably too!! (much nicer than my previous E260 Merc)
The 850 is a completely different car. the build is clearly cheaper than the 960 and this is obvious inside! Its also a great car but its like driving a race car on the street! mines a manual T5-R (not many of them about!) and its a bit of a beast to drive cos you tend to spend all your time trying not to spin the wheels and making it go in a straight line 9the torque steer is horrendous!)
Its great for covering a lot of ground but you do feel every bump in the rd too!
If youd love to own a Bentley buy a 960
If youd love to own a Rally car buy an 850 T5R
