Waher tank leak solved (mostly) 850

LOL!! I had the same problem - lost the pump gasket inside the tank. I ended up removing the tank completely (from the bottom), cutting a hole in it like surgery, retrieving the gasket, and patching the hole with epoxy and silicone. Is that being cheap, or what?! Years later, it's all holding and working fine.

The filler neck is only a friction fit. You may consider cleaning both surfaces well, maybe lightly applying some plumber's pipe dope, etc.
