Does your 850 still have its louvre? This is the grille that has vertical bars and mounts to the air guide and sits inside the large center hole in your bumper. The left (driver's side) side of the louvre has a open section in it for the sensor and its bracket to sit in.

BTW - all three of our used 850s were missing this louvre! I only found out about it when our front bumper and air guide was destroyed by the 65 MPH raccoon.
