Re-wiring Headlamp Wipers 850 1995

In addition to the problem of the headlights constantly flickering, I doubt that Volvo designed the little headlight wiper motors to be in use constantly.

The motors burn out anyway, re-wiring them would probably speed up the process.

Why not just apply Rain-X to the headlights? Cheaper and easier.
