Vacuum Pump on continuously S40-V40

It's your brake booster pump that's running located in front of the LF wheel, inside the fender well (under the plactic cover).
It's relay is stuck, you need a new relay and it's attached to the pump motor bracket. You will probably need to special order one via your local dealer as I doubt that they'd stock it. I've seen this happen to a couple other X40s.
