To remove the door speakers you only have to pull the mesh speaker cover off and then remove the four torx screws. If you are going to use genuine Volvo speakers, they should fit back exactly as the old ones. If you intend to install other aftermarket speakers, you may need to make some modifications to door panel to make them fit. I just replaced the four door speakers in my '95 850 with some highly recommended Polk Audio speakers and had to make some significant modifications to the speaker openings in the door panels. But, the new ones really sound great.
