Transmission problems S60 2001

I have a 2001 S60T5 that had the same problem you describe. It started out small and very infrequently, then gradually became worse. Several trips to my Volvo dealer occurred before I finally demanded the service advisor drive the car for a half hour, since I knew it could be duplicated. They finally told me the entire transmission and one of the computers had to be replaced. I was glad it was under warranty (37K miles).
