I can't answer your question, but I change the oil in my turbo and non-turbo every 3K. This is my choice, but interestingly enough when I bought my new 97 the dealer recomended the 3K interval instead of the 5K which was stated in the manual. I would never feel comforatble running to 7.5K on dino juice with a turbo. I don't think any of the lifers here would either.
