installing an SC-816 radio S70 1998

did the same on our 1999 V70. Piece of cake, make sure you know the sc-813 code before you yank itthis will make it easy to sell. Make sure you have the code for the SC-816 before swapping. you will note on each side of either radio
there are two "latches". Using a coin, small screwdriver push in, the latches
will then "pop" out. Just slip your fingers in the holes gently pull radio out.
you will 3 connectors, power, antenna speakers. Just remove these, swap units
Push SC-816 into console, push latches in, enter your security code and enjoy!
