Looking for a 98-99 V70 V70-XC70

well stick with 1999 on, FWD only. A base V70 no turbo will be nice. We have one but we also have the certified 70 mos/100K warranty on it. Costs $50 per claim but it sure beats other alternatives. We bought it with 47K on the clock,
was a lease return from Calif, ended up in Portland, OR, new tires, plugs, filters. At 60K will have to do the belt stuff, will jump the gun on the timing
belt however, if it goes so do the car! I am not rebuilding the engine.
good luck. Sofar very pleased with V70, wife loves the fairly tight turning
circle, 33feet or so, not as good as our other 1967 122s's, 29 feet. The V70
offers lots of usable room, and gives good gas mileage, about 22-24 in town
but its the base engine, 167HP and FWD only, is not a barn burner but it does
move when needed.
cheers
