ENGINE REVS ON COLD START-UP 850 1995

mine did this 2 and the dealer also couldn't fix it!!

wot i used to do was crank it a few time NOT letting it start and then start it normally, this stopped the over-revving on cold starts.

must be a bad sensor i think probably the coolant temp sensor under the thermostat telling the car its colder than it is and so it revs up to start first time, maybe??
