Radio Reception S70 1998

I'm having a radio station reception problem with my 1998 S70. Recently, I have not been able to get any AM stations at all and FM reception only works on the stations with a strong signal. I have replaced the power antenna (aftermarket, new) and the radio itself (Volvo, used, upgraded to the SC-816 from the SC-813) but there is no improvement at all. Any suggestions?
