I had the same choice to make recently. I was wary that the HDs would be too stiff for me. I went with Bilstein TC struts and shocks from FCP Groton. They are a little stiffer and a lot more comfortable than the OEM ones were when new. I'm at 100K, and did the strut and shock mounts/bearings as well. It's like a new car again (well, except for that squeaking heater fan!).
