If the valve is stuck open, too much air is getting into the manifold. About the problem... My next steps are 1) replace flame trap, as I've heard this should be done quite often anyway, and 2) replace 02 sensors. I have a hunch the latter will be very nice to me. I'll update about the ongoing process.
